JV LLC "CARBIDE IMPEX" is a leader in the production of ferroalloys in Uzbekistan. The production facilities of the company are located in the Navoi region, in the city of Zarafshan and in the Tashkent region, in the cities of Almalyk and Angren. A Foundry for the production of steel and iron is located in the city of Chirchik, Tashkent region.

Low-carbon ferroalloys are obtained in electric arc furnaces with a capacity of 2.5–5.5 MVA by the metallothermic method. Silicothermic - low- and carbon-free alloys of manganese and chromium, ferrovanadium, ferrotungsten, silicozirconium, aluminothermic - metallic chromium, carbon-free ferrochromium, ferroniobium, ferroboron, silicozirconium, various alloys with rare and rare earth metals. Medium-carbon ferrochromium is also produced in oxygen-blasted converters. To obtain nitrogen-containing alloys of manganese, chromium and vanadium, electric resistance furnaces and induction furnaces are used. Ferrotitanium, metallic chromium and vanadium are smelted by the out-of-furnace aluminothermic method, and ferromolybdenum is smelted by the out-of-furnace silicothermic method.
